DVD Player
Yay. I have a DVD player. The first movie I bought was 2001: A Space Odyssey. I should now use that video card I have. Or Something.

Jim.

Great file sharing appliction for the Mac. Jim is based on the source code for GiFTBox. GiFTBox is a file sharing program based on the OpenFT protocol. However, it hadn’t been updated in a while and recently stopped working. Jim picks up where GiFTBox started. It’s a great protocol because of the content that is being shared. To set up an OpenFT client generally takes quite a bit of computer know-how. So as a consequence, the stuff you find on OenFT reflects the tastes of those who can actually get the damn thing to run: Geeks. So we’re talking lots of Sci-Fi and Anime. Jim is incredibly easy to set-up and runs as a background process.
